1966 yılında Gaziantep’te kurulan OBA Makarnacılık, yüksek teknolojik yatırımları ve insan sağlığına önem veren kaliteli üretimi ile sektöründe öncü bir kuruluştur. 2005 Yılında ÖZGÜÇLÜ AİLESİ tarafından satın alınan OBA Makarna, Gaziantep 4.Organize sanayi bölgesinde 110.000 m² üzerine kurulu, 49,000 m² kapalı alana sahip tesislerinde dünyanın en yüksek teknoloji sistemleriyle üretim yaparak, inovatif yaklaşımlarla ürün geliştirmektedir. 2010 ve 2012 yılları arasında yaptığı 50.000.000 Euro’luk yatırımlarının ardından günlük 1.215 ton buğday kırma ve yaklaşık 1.100 ton makarna üretim kapasitesi ile 100’den fazla ülkenin sofrasına ulaşmaktadır. 2017 yılında Sakarya/Hendek’ te 50.000 m² alanda kurulu yüksek teknoloji ile donatılmış entegre üretim tesisinde; üretimin başından sonuna yüksek kaliteli nihai ürün garanti etmektedir. Günlük 1.575 ton buğday kırma, yaklaşık 580 ton makarna üretim kapasitesi ve lokasyon avantajı sayesinde ürünler süratle dünya sofralarına ulaşmaktadır. Tarımın başlangıcına öncülük eden Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nin bereketli topraklarında yetiştirilen en diri, en taze durum buğdayını kullanarak tüketicisine 40 farklı ürün çeşidi sunan OBA Makarna, entegre modern üretim tesislerinde el değmeden, en gelişmiş kontrol cihazlarıyla donatılmış laboratuvar analizleri ile hizmet vermektedir. Yeni nesil ürünlerle ülke ekonomisine daha fazla katkı sağlamak amacıyla, Sakarya/Hendek’te yer alan noodle üretim tesisinde hat sayısını 4’e çıkartarak; günlük 3.000.000 paket noodle ve 300.000 adet bardak noodle kapasitesine ulaşarak Türkiye’nin ve Avrupa’nın en büyük noodle üretim tesisine sahip olmanın haklı gururunu yaşamaktadır.
Sürdürülebilirlik stratejisi doğrultusunda noodle üretim tesisinde kullanılan elektrik enerjisinin yarısını, makarna üretiminde kullanılan elektrik enerjisinin ise yüzde 5’lik kısmını tesis çatısına kurulan toplam 4.5 MW gücünde GES paneller ile karşılanmaktadır. Kurumsal hedefler çerçevesinde hem üretim tesisinde kullanılan elektriği yenilenebilir enerjiden üretilmiş oluyor, hem de 3600 ton karbon salınımını engelleyerek 71.000 ağacın kurtarılmasını sağlayarak sürdürülebilirliğe katkıda bulunmaktadır.
