2000 yılında kurulan Gentaş Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret Pazarlama A.Ş., Gentaş Şirketler Grubunun bir üyesi olarak 2003 yılında Tuzla Kimya Sanayicileri Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde yatırıma başlamış ve 1 Ocak 2005 tarihinden itibaren 7200 m² açık alan üzerine kurulu 3600 m² kapalı alanda üretim yapmaktadır.Faaliyet konusu formaldehit ve formaldehit reçineleri olan Gentaş Kimya 2018 yılı itibarıyla 150.000 ton/yıl formaldehit ve 137.000 ton/ yıl reçine üretim kapasitesi ile kimya sanayine hizmet vermektedir.Sektör dinamiklerini sürekli olarak takip eden firmamız 2018 yılından itibaren döküm sektöründe kullanılan reçineler ve bu reçinelere uygun katalizör paketleri geliştirmeye başlamıştır. Özellikle döküm sanayinde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik reçine ve katalizör üretimi üzerine çalışmalar yapılmaktadır
