İşbir Sentetik, plastik sektörünün alt sektörlerinden biri olan endüstriyel ambalaj ile teknik tekstil alanlarında faaliyetler göstermektedir. Her iki alanda da hammadde olarak polietilen ve polipropilen ham maddeleri kullanılmaktdır.

Şirket, endüstriyel ambalaj içerisinde sınıflanan esnek, orta boy, dökme yük konteynerleri (FIBC veya bigbag) ürünlerinin üretimlerini ve satışlarını gerçekleştirmektedir. Bigbag'ler, içerisine yerleştirilen ürünleri, yabancı madde, UV ve neme karşı koruyan, ürünün naklini ve stoklanmasını kolaylaştıran, doldurma ve boşaltma kolaylığının yanı sıra yüksek seviyede kullanım güvenliği sağlayan yüksek mukavemetli esnek ambalajlardır. Ürün madencilik, kimya, gıda ve petrokimyevi maddeler sektörlerinde ürün nakliyesi ve depolanması amaçlarıyla kullanılmaktadır.

Şirket aynı zamanda teknik tekstil alanında da faaliyetler göstermektedir. Şirket halı dokumacılığında kullanılan halıtabanı üretimlerini gerçekleştirmektedir. Şirket bu alanda yurt içinde üretim yapan az sayıda firmadan bir tanesidir.

Şirket entegre tesislerinde, iç tüketimi karşılamak amacı ile kurmuş olduğu makinelerde PE Film ve compound üretimi yapmakta ve bu ürünlerin iç tüketimde kullanılmayan kısımlarını müşterilerine satmaktadır.

Şirket halıtabanı üretiminin tamamını Balıkesir'de bulunan tesislerinde üretimini gerçekleştirmektedir. Bigbag üretiminin büyük bir kısmını Türkiye'de, küçük bir kısmını ise Hindistan'da bulunan üretim tesislerinde gerçekleştirmektedir. Şirket doğrudan yaptığı satışlarının yanında, ihale yoluyla ve yurtdışında bulunan iştirakleri vasıtasıyla da satış gerçekleştirmektedir.
